In order to achieve maximum yield, it’s essential to monitor the nutrients of plants on a frequent basis. The goal of a cultivator is to create an environment where both water and nutrients are equally accessible for the plants. Two fundamental parameters control this hand-in-hand. Monitoring pH level helps you determine whether your plants have the ideal environment to absorb nutrients well. Measuring TDS/EC helps you avoid overfeeding your plants, which is a very common mistake made by many growers.

It’s okay to see that pH and EC/TDS levels slightly change throughout the cycle. There are no perfect levels to follow; only recommended ranges of pH and EC/TDS to control. Having both of pH and EC/TDS parameters help the growers understand how well and how much nutrients the plants intake.

Common parameters measured are pH and EC or TDS.
