The best price I could find for this kind of a ph&EC tester. Works great for my hydroponics testing. It's actually much better than I expected. Came with everything I needed. Buffer solutions, storage solution, and even a lanyard. Calibration took no more than 3 minutes. So happy about this purchase.
Recently ordered one of these meters for our pool cleaning business. Meter is a fast and convenient way to get Ph and salt readings. This meter is an affordable. Complete kit was convenient for initial calibration. We had an issue with the meter and customer service addressed it immediately. Employees are fighting over who gets the meter. I would recommend this product .
Really liked this pH and EC dual testing probe. It made my hydroponics testing so much easier and more reliable. Calibrated in the 4.0 and 7.0 solutions that come with the case in about 3 minutes with no problem. And the blue/green LCD is pretty nice, easily reminding you whether it’s in measurement mode or calibration mode.
Arrived today and did the calibration after reviewing the Apera website video as instructed in the box that the unit came with. The unit was calibrated and did not have to calibrate unit. Using this product at work and it does what the unit said it would do. Very simple and easy to use. Read previous reviews to know to go to Apera Website video's for instructions vs using the instruction booklet. Showed up on time and was the best price that I found on the internet on this item. Would purchase again.
I have a R/O water maker, a salt water spa, an aquarium and water from a rural water source. This means I should be testing TDS, salinity and pH on a regular basis. I haven't done this because the tools are expensive and test strips have a lesser up front cost. However test strips don't test TDS or salinity so they only offer partial coverage. In the past, I invested in a salinity probe for the spa but was never able to get it calibrated and I knew the results were really off - I just used it as a relative test. I had the good fortune to get this test kit. It is the swiss army knife of test kits. It comes with calibration solutions, simple instructions and is easy and fast to calibrate. I spent 30 minutes calibrating it and now I'm confident in the results I am getting. The features are very good for maintaining a spa. It makes quick work of testing. For R/O systems you can use TDS to see if the filter is wearing out. That way you don't replace perfectly working filters. Our spa has been tough to keep from clouding up. The test strips said all was well - this kit said the pH was high. That gives me something I could fix since high pH can result in the spa clouding. So, first time out this kit was helpful. I like the combination of features. I really like the quick start card. It seems like it has the right measurements for spas. I'm looking forward to trying on my aquarium.
I run a lot of RO system and Well Water systems, so always replacing or buying new meters. Love this meter... all in one, less meters to carry…kit is nice n tight, u wont loose anything. Any good meter will come with calibration solutions, otherwise, u have no benchmark to confirm the meter is working. display size is good enough considering its a relatively small meter. tested all the solutions and meter was quite accurate right out of the box...I like the fact u can replace the head if it fails, vs. the entire meter, a nice feature making this meter more permanent vs. a disposable meter, as its often the tips that fail. priced very competitive considering all that is provided...great product, will report back on any reliability issues....
I live on rural property where we must monitor and test our own water regularly. This kit really surprised me, how complete and easy to use it is. This is my new go-to water test kit. A+
