      I like it so far

Seems like a high quality test instrument. I'm still getting use to all the different measurements. Like, I usually just checked the EC and PH with my old meter, or the PPM to double check if I had to, but I think this meter displays different values. The Apera can tell you conductivity, salinity, and TDS. On my other meter, the reading for EC (equivalent of conductivity) was displayed as just one whole digit plus one decimal which is easy to convert to dissolved salts with either of the standard factors- 0.5 and 0.7. (The Apera can have the factor adjusted in the settings to the users preference with any number between 0.4 and 1.0), for example- if I had an EC reading of 1.5 then I knew it was 750 PPM or 1050 PPM depending on which factor the crew preferred. This Apera meter displays conductivity as microsiemens, which must be super scientific because I've never heard of such a thing. Apparently it's the reciprocal of one ohm (1/ohm) which is another value for conductivity. I'm also still getting use to the automatic switching of PPM to PPT when the TDS level gets to a high enough point. I really like the neat little kit that came with the Apera and how the probe is easily replaceable. And also, I can't forget about the automatic temperature compensation or the nice guard around the probe fitting. It was a huge selling point for me because I don't know how many times the glass bulb has broke on the other meter, which is why I got an extra one ordered for the Apera just in case even though the Apera seems to be way more protected then the other pH probes.

      Amazing product

Great price for what it comes with. Precision, easy to use, and durable are the correct words to describe it.

Good pocket meter for measuring nutrient pH and concentration as well as measuring runoff.

I bought this combo meter to replace my Hannah Instruments combo pH and EC meter. I like that the price is less and it comes with a carrying case. I've had zero issues because I read the instruction manual and troubleshooted any error codes (yes, just 2 codes but still very helpful for me.). I'm a laboratorian (med lab scientist) and I do calibrations and measurements all the time and I love this meter. I always use a colorimetric pH indicator in tandem when determining my final pH after mixing all my nutrients. I've had zero issues so far with this meter. No meter lasts forever but I like the precision and accuracy I've been getting with this combo meter. I hope it can last longer than the Hannah combo one I had. I'd buy it again if it lasts at least 2 years, my meters get some use/abuse. I prefer a good pocket meter over a bench meter because I like to measure the pH of all my runoff without having to collect and label samples.

      Good product

It was a little difficult to calibrate at first, but works great

      Superb product so far!

It came fast and well packaged. Upon unboxing it was clear this company did not skimp on the design. I really appreciate the hard carrying case that includes calibration liquids. The piece that I really appreciate is the directions and guidance that is on a laminated card.

      Great product for Aquarium testing!

Great packaging, great product. Easy display. I appreciate that it comes in a hard-sided little case with the calibration solutions and supplies included--protecting the sensitive sensor is key. As a person with multiple aquariums to test weekly, this is great.
